Terms and Conditions
How ordering, payment and delivery work, how to withdraw from a contract, and how to make a complaint.
1. Seller
- Bc. Andrej Lacko - PsyLab
- place of business: 082 35 Bertotovce 105, Slovak Republic
- Company ID (IČO): 57885753
- registered in the Trade Register of the District Office Prešov, trade register number 750-73206
- email: info@psylab.sk
The seller is not a VAT payer. The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Inspectorate in Prešov for the Prešov Region, Obrancov mieru 6, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia.
These terms apply to distance contracts concluded through the psylab.sk website between the seller and the customer. Where the customer is a consumer, the relationship is governed mainly by the Slovak Civil Code and Slovak Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection.
2. What we offer
- arranging laboratory tests with partner laboratories in the EU,
- arranging delivery of dietary supplements,
- educational consultations and arranging a consultation with a doctor or therapist,
- arranging contact with a specialized pharmacy.
PsyLab is not a healthcare provider. A test result is a laboratory measurement, not a diagnosis, and our services do not replace an examination or treatment by a doctor.
3. Ordering and conclusion of the contract
You place an order through the form on the Contact page. By sending the form you make a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email; the confirmation contains an order summary, the final price including delivery, and payment details.
If we cannot fulfil the order, we will inform you without delay and refund any payments received. We keep the contract in electronic form; its content is in your confirmation email.
4. Prices and payment
Prices on the website are final and stated in euros. The seller is not a VAT payer. We tell you the delivery cost in the order confirmation, before you pay.
Payment is made by bank transfer to the seller’s account using the details in the order confirmation. We process the order once the payment has been credited. If we do not receive payment within 10 days, we may cancel the order.
5. Delivery
We deliver to European countries. Goods are dispatched after payment is received; the expected dispatch date is stated in the order confirmation.
- Urine, saliva or hair tests: the collection kit is sent to you by the partner laboratory or by us. You send the sample to the laboratory at your own expense.
- Blood tests: you receive a referral for a blood draw at a collection site or with your own doctor. You send the sample to the laboratory at your own expense.
- Test results: sent electronically to your email, usually within 2–4 weeks of the laboratory receiving the sample.
- Consultations: online or by phone at a time agreed by email.
Check the parcel on receipt. Report transport damage to us by email as soon as possible, ideally with a photo.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. For goods the period runs from the day you receive them, for services from the day the contract is concluded. It is enough to send the notice on the last day of the period.
Notify us of the withdrawal by a clear statement by email to info@psylab.sk or by letter to the seller’s address. You may use the model form below.
What happens next. Send the goods back within 14 days of withdrawing to: Bc. Andrej Lacko - PsyLab, 082 35 Bertotovce 105, Slovakia. You bear the cost of returning them. We refund all payments received, including standard postage, by bank transfer within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you prove you have sent them. You are liable only for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to examine the goods.
When you cannot withdraw:
- from a service that has been fully performed, if it began with your express consent and you were told that you lose the right of withdrawal once it is fully performed — for example a consultation that has taken place or a laboratory analysis that has been carried out,
- from goods in protective packaging that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, if the packaging was opened after delivery — for example an opened collection kit or an opened dietary supplement.
If you asked for a service to begin before the period expired and then withdraw, you pay a proportionate part of the price for what has already been provided.
7. Model withdrawal form
Complete and send this only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.

8. Complaints
We are liable for defects that the goods have on delivery and that appear within 24 months. Send a complaint by email to info@psylab.sk with the order number or date, a description of the defect and, if possible, a photo. We confirm receipt of the complaint by email.
We settle an accepted complaint by refunding the money by bank transfer, no later than 30 days after it was made. Your statutory rights for defective performance are not affected. For services, report a shortcoming without undue delay after you notice it.
9. Dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with how a complaint was handled or believe we have infringed your rights, send us a request for redress at info@psylab.sk. If we reject it or do not reply within 30 days, you as a consumer may file a motion for alternative dispute resolution under Slovak Act No. 391/2015 Coll. The body is the Slovak Trade Inspection (soi.sk) or another body on the list kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. Your right to go to court is not affected.
10. Final provisions
The relationship is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. A consumer from another EU country keeps the protection given by the mandatory rules of their own country. The contract is subject to the terms in force on the day the order was sent. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Effective from 10 October 2026.
