Biotype 1 — Pyroluria

Pyroluria (B6, zinc and manganese deficiency)

People who feel stress wears them down faster than it does other people. Sensitive to noise, light, medications and supplements. They don't remember dreams and have never known why. Blood work comes back "normal".

When this path makes sense

Pyroluria is a metabolic condition in which the body excretes elevated amounts of pyrrole molecules through the urine. In the blood, these bind zinc, vitamin B6 and sometimes manganese — key nutrients for producing serotonin, GABA and a stable stress response. A standard blood count will not reveal pyroluria. Serum zinc and B6 levels can look "normal" even while tissues are losing large amounts. A morning urine pyrrole test picks it up directly. Pyroluria typically develops gradually — often after prolonged stress, burnout, an infection or an injury. Symptoms build up over time: anxiety, poor stress tolerance, sensitivity to light and noise, poor dream recall, chronic fatigue.

Next step

Start with a test, not guesswork.

This path isn't about buying five supplements right away. First confirm the area that best matches your symptoms. Only then does it make sense to act on the result with supplements or a consultation.

After the result

What's worth addressing next

The test is only the start — the real value comes once you pair the result with a consultation and targeted nutritional support for your biotype. Here are the usual next steps.

Practical plan

  1. Fill in the orientational screening — it checks whether your symptoms are compatible with this biotype.
  2. Order the Pyroluria Test (€99) — the sample is collected at home or at a local laboratory.
  3. Once the result is in, targeted nutritional support (Stress Support) is handled in the Consultation with a Doctor / Therapist (€149).
